As foreshadowed in recent posts, IFWG Publishing is pleased to announce the release tomorrow of our third New Zealand title, the young adult fantasy novel, The Locksmith, by Barbara Howe. This is the first in a five part series, ‘Reforging’, and for those of you who will read Book 1, you will definitely be impatient for future instalments.
The Locksmith will be officially launched at Lexicon, Lake Taupo NZ on 4 June – not only will Barbara and Ali (The Rejects) will be there for their launches, but Gerry Huntman (Managing Director IFWG Publishing Australia) will be MC at the event, and Kaaron Warren will also be there.
In a world where membership in one of the four magic guilds guarantees respect and wealth, it is strange that Lucinda Guillierre is terrified of being exposed as a witch. The Fire Warlock finds her attitude puzzling, but does not give her his full attention until a long-buried secret comes to light.
She has good reasons to be afraid.
As war looms and dangerous romance beckons, who will have the best chance to kill her? Her enemies, her friends, or Lucinda herself?
From tomorrow The Locksmith will be available in all good print and ebook online bookstore, and will soon be available at all quality bricks and mortar bookstores. You can also opt to purchase direct from the publisher right now: Print and ebook.
